De Morbis Acutis et Chronicis
Caelius Aurelianus (fl. 5th century) of Sicca in Numidia [Algeria] was a Roman physician and an adherent of the methodic school of medicine. His most famous work is De Morbis Acutis et Chronicis which is a Latin translation of the original Greek work by Soranus of Ephesus with additional content by Caelius. The 1709 edition in the Flax Collection was edited by Swiss physician Johann Conrad Amman (1669-1724) with Dutch physician Theodoor Jansson Almeloveen (1657-1712).
