Title: Tile Image, Many Cells
Description: B cells (green) and T cells (red) are arranged in a sheath around a central arteriole in the spleen of BALB/C mouse. This is an example of typical splenic immune architecture.
20x magnification. Peri-arteriolar Lymphoid Sheath (PALS) Tissue from mouse spleen. Frozen spleens were sectioned and fixed with acetone and stained with FITC anti-B220 and PE anti-CD3. B cells-Green and T-cells-Red.
It shows the distribution of the lymphocyte populations around the central arteriole.
