Title: Electrospun Fibers
Description: Electrospun fibers fabricated with significant beading.
This electrospun scaffold composed of 50 mg/ml polyglycolide and 25 mg/ml polyethylene oxide. Once fabricated, samples were sputter coated and imaged via secondary electron imaging on the Jeol JSM-5610.
These electrospun fibers were created in an effort to develop a scaffold suitable for tissue engineering.
Ryan Clohessy, Student, Biomedical Engineering
Using the Jeol JSM-5610 imaging in SEI mode. Voltage was set to 20kV, working distance to 19, and spot size of 29. Magnification is 1000x.
